Exploring the Sculptural Book

3 x Full Days: 10am – 4.00pm

Date: Friday March 23rd to Sunday March 25th

Immerse yourself in techniques for making sensational sculptural books.

Day One: Scraper paper, Piano Hinge Binding, Two-needle Coptic or Celtic binding with hard covers.

Day Two: Paste paper, Variations based on the concertina including flag book and W binding.

Day Three: Shaving brush tissue, Triangular pocket book, sculptural book of choice or Ornament book.

Material List will be provided when bookings and payments are made.

* A great three days so many ideas & valuable techniques. Excellent class.I thought (personally) demo’s were a bit slow but some people seemed to struggle so I guess the time taken was necessary. All in all it was a great workshop thanks Gail.
